For those who will be going out for Halloween, we at Xtreme Inflatables of LA want you to have an extremely fun but safe evening. Here are some tips to help you:
Use Face Paint
Using face paint is by far better than wearing a mask. Masks can limit your vision. Hypoallergenic face paint is a much better alternative that will allow you to see what’s around you.
Wear A Visual, Properly Fitting Costume
Costumes should be light colored and loose. Wearing costumes that are too tight are uncomfortable and cannot fit over other clothing. Since you’ll be outside at night time, wearing a dark costume will be harder to see. You want to wear a lighter costume that is easy to see and layers to keep you warm on a cold fall evening.
Stay In Well Lit Areas
Because you are out at night, you want to be visual. Along with a light colored costume, it’s important to stick to areas that are well lit so that drivers and other trick-or-treaters can see you. Dark areas can also make you a target for those who would rather ruin other people’s Halloween by stealing candy.
Safety In Numbers
No matter where you are going on Halloween, it is always better to stick with a group. You are safer going out with friends and other people than going out alone. At the very least, your group should be not be less than 3 people.
Check Your Candy
Always check your candy and treats after trick-or-treating. The wrappings and packaging should be new and unopened. Any homemade treats or treats with ripped, torn, opened or tampered with packaging should be discarded immediately. If the packaging looks like someone has intentionally harmed or tampered with the treats, your local authorities may have to be notified.
For safety reasons, many neighborhoods, families, shopping malls and communities have started to host Halloween-themed events rather than have the kids go around trick-or-treating. They are a much safer way to enjoy this extremely fun holiday for both adults and children. If you are planning an event, or considering hosting one, come talk to us at Xtreme Inflatables of LA. We can help you plan a spectacular Halloween party for all of your friends, family and neighbors using inflatable rentals. Our professional staff will help you organize everything you will need to make your event exciting. We at Xtreme Inflatables of LA will do everything we can to make sure you have a fun but safe Halloween.
